\nRecomendaciones al visitante<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Tarifas y descuentos. Los centros tienen una tarifa de entrada. Hay tarifas especiales para residentes en Canarias, residentes en El Hierro (a acreditar con DNI o Certificado de
\nResidencia) y grupos. Los docentes y gu\u00edas tur\u00edsticos en activo, as\u00ed como los menores de doce a\u00f1os (tambi\u00e9n debidamente acreditados) disfrutan de gratuidad.<\/p>\n

2. Pasaporte Tur\u00edstico. El pasaporte tur\u00edstico es una entrada conjunta sin fecha de caducidad que permite visitar todos los centros a un precio m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mico. Es una entrada intransferible. No incluye la ruta guiada a la zona arqueol\u00f3gica de El Julan. Se encuentra a la venta en los centros tur\u00edsticos y oficinas de informaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

3. Horarios de admisi\u00f3n. Todos los centros requieren un tiempo para su visita y disfrute por lo que recomendamos estar una hora antes del cierre (dos horas antes en el Ecomuseo de Guinea y el C.I. del Geoparque). El personal podr\u00eda negarle la entrada si llegara a una hora pr\u00f3xima al cierre.<\/p>\n

4. Pago con tarjeta. Como norma general se prefiere y se agradece el pago con tarjeta, pero en algunos centros especialmente aislados, como ocurre en el Parque Cultural de El Julan, no se cuenta con dat\u00e1fono por lo que se recomienda llevar efectivo por si fuera necesario. No se acepta American Express.<\/p>\n

5. Calzado adecuado. Algunos de los centros como; C.I. Garo\u00e9, Ecomuseo de Guinea, C.I. del Geoparque o la ruta al yacimiento de El Julan, presentan un terreno irregular con cierto grado de dificultad en los que se recomienda un calzado adecuado (deportivo, cerrado). El personal podr\u00eda negarla la entrada si observara que el calzado es inadecuado y pone en riesgo su seguridad.<\/p>\n

6. No se permite la entrada con animales de compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n

7. Ruta al yacimiento de El Julan. La ruta guiada al yacimiento no est\u00e1 incluida en el pasaporte tur\u00edstico y debe reservarse con antelaci\u00f3n. Tiene una dificultad media-alta y una duraci\u00f3n de 3-4 horas. No se recomienda en casos de problemas de salud como insuficiencia respiratoria, problemas de coraz\u00f3n y\/o movilidad reducida, ni a ni\u00f1os menores de doce a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

8. Ruta del Ecomuseo de Guinea. El Ecomuseo de Guinea se visita obligatoriamente en ruta guiada. La ruta completa consta de una visita a la Cueva de Guinea, el Lagartario y parte del Poblado de Guinea. Esta visita guiada tiene una duraci\u00f3n aproximada de 1 h 30 m. El resto del poblado se visita por libre y la duraci\u00f3n estimada es media hora. Por ello deber\u00e1 contar siempre con 2 h para visitar el centro. Los ni\u00f1os menores de seis a\u00f1os no tienen permitida la entrada a la cueva.<\/p>\n

9. Oficina de Informaci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica de El Hierro. Se aconseja visitar la Oficina de Informaci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica para m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n. Aqu\u00ed podr\u00e1 conseguir gu\u00edas tur\u00edsticas en varios idiomas, pasaportes tur\u00edsticos, mapas de carretera, mapas de senderos, etc. Dr. Quintero Magdaleno, 6 Valverde. General recommendations<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Rates and Discounts. All the centers have an entrance fee. There are discounts available for groups, residents in the Canary Islands and residents in El Hierro (accredited by DNI or Residence Certificate). Free admission for children under twelve years, teachers and tour guides duly accredited.<\/p>\n

2. Touristic Passport. The Touristic Passport is a joint-ticket that allows the visit to all the centers at a cheaper price. It is a non-transferable entrance with no expiration
\ndate. Available at all centers and tourism offices. Does not include the guided tour to El Julan Archeological Site.<\/p>\n

3. Visiting hours. It is recommended to arrive to the centers one hour before the closing time (two in Ecomuseo de Guinea and C.I. Geoparque). Staff can deny entrance if there is not enough time for the visit.<\/p>\n

4. Payment. We prefer card payment but in the center of El Julan payments have to be cash only. American Express is not accepted.<\/p>\n

5. Proper footwear is important. Some of the centers have uneven ground with medium-high difficulty paths where sturdy shoes are necessary. Staff can deny entrance if shoes are not suitable and can compromise your safety.<\/p>\n

6. Pets are not allowed.<\/p>\n

7. El Julan Guided Tour. The guided tour to El Julan must be booked in advance and is not included on the Tourist Passport. Difficulty is medium-high and the duration is about 3-4 hours. This tour is not recommended for children under 12 years or people with health-related or mobility problems.<\/p>\n

8. Ecomuseo de Guinea Guided Tour. Ecomuseo de Guinea can only be visited accompanied by a guide. The guided tour to the volcanic cave, The Recovery Center for The Giant Lizard of El Hierro and part of the village lasts about 1 h 30 m. The rest of the village can be visited without guide (estimated duration: 30 m). Keep in mind the whole visit can take up to 2h. No unguided visits to the cave and the Lizard Recovery Centre are allowed. Children under the age of six are not allowed in the volcanic cave.<\/p>\n
