Its volcanic origin and its youth (2-3 million years old) give it a unique landscape.<\/p><p>The highest point is Malpaso (1,504 m), which descends steeply to the El Golfo valley. Although there are no active volcanoes, the terrain is still impressive.<\/p><p>There are not many sandy beaches, but there are many natural areas and swimming pools.
